Made a quick day trip to check out the Pictographs on North Hegman. Dad has never canoed, and has never been to the BWCA. We made quick work of the portage between the lot and South Hegman. The portage into North Hegman was also very easy.
We accidentally paddled right past the pictographs at first, and finally found them on the way back. We sat and marveled at them for a while before heading back.
Made our way back to Ely for some well deserved fish and chips.
